Home & School Events had a very successful 2016/2017 school year.
With your help, by participating in Home & School events, we raised just over $35,000!!
We kicked the year off with a fun Trivia Night in the gym which raised over $2,000 for ukuleles for the music program. Student events – Halloween Dances, Pizza with Santa, Family Bingo and The Sweetheart Dance – brought in over $3,000!! This money went towards new gym equipment and funded a number of enrichment programs for the classrooms – field trips, robotics programs and wiggle seats are just a few examples! The Annual Road Race raised $13,000 which will go towards the planned Outdoor Classroom. And finally, the June Golf Tournament raised $17,000, which will also go towards the Outdoor Classroom and the funding of student events for this coming year.
Home & School also hosted a number of fun social events for parents – Ladies’ Bowling Night and a private shopping event at Coppersmith.
